I tasted her teers

From the last ten minutes she wasn’t listening to me, she was just in her own thoughts. And when she looked at me, tears started rolling down her cheek.

I tried to console her.

I thought that the tears are because of the change we gonna face in the near future. Few days left and then we both would be at different places (Engineering khatam). This thought upset me too.

I wiped her tears and placed a kiss on her cheek.

I noticed an unknown fear on face and as I kissed her cheek it was wet enough that I caught its taste.

I tasted her tears.

An unknown brackish taste felt on the tongue and got diffused in the brain. The taste contained mixed fearful feelings.

The fear was clear because of the unwritten illogical caste barriers we gonna face in the near future. The orthodox stubborn family backgrounds will gonna make us helpless.

The fear was not because of the struggle for love, it was because of the fight against family.

The fear was not because of the temporary separation. It was because of the doubt that weather our families will accept our relation.

The fear was because of the human society’s self-made rules.

I always believed that the purpose of the society is to help one another in need. How can it make someone helpless??

Being helpless I observed the fears on her face.  I promised to myself that one day I will change the feeling content of  her tears...This one is more special for u chasmish...
