Once upon a time...!

Once upon a time we build castles, the castles of dreams. Together we dreamed of a life full of love and peace. The life free of caste barriers, the unwritten, illogical barriers. We dreamed of a happy family. It were all seemed easy while dreaming. But deep inside we were fighting with our thoughts, between the reality and the dreams. The reality felt harsh and hurting. The reality has had some rules. The illogical rules of caste barriers. Rules as per the mind sets of the people.

Most of the time we avoided the reality and shared the maximum possible time together. We used to talk for hours I remember. The talks included the Laughs, the Cries, the Hugs and the Kisses and were used to end up sleeping in each other’s arms. We were happy but the universe believes in balance and life (nature) got its rules. Change; one of the rule. Change is the unchanging law of nature. Life changes as we grow, so there came a time for change, to take decision. We earlier thought of the time (the decision time) many a times and always ended up crying. But then there was no option.

There seemed two roads to me, one towards those beautiful castles and the other one seemed dark. I was ready to fight for love, for a battle for peace. However she choose the other road. She choose our family’s happiness over ours. I think she was wiser than me in taking decisions. I mean how can a fight, a battle with the family and society leads to peace and love. That was illogical. So finally we broke up happily with tears of joy for we shared the best time together. But we were also aware about the volcanoes of pain erupting under those tears. We separated physically…

“I can still feel her first smile to me and it’s not yet been possible to get over her last tears to me,

I can still feel her hand in mine like for the first time and it’s not yet been possible to get over her good bye wave,

I can still feel the sweetness of our late night talks and now the lonely cries are like hell,

The memories of her tight hugs are the best ones and now the rare sleepy nights with the night mares are the worst things to bear,

The feelings that were comforting then are the most hurting ones now”

But this is life so it’s all worthy, the beautiful and the ugly…..
